We heartily subscribe to the following statement:
1. THE HOLY SCRIPTURES
Inerrant in the original writing, infallible and God-breathed, and our final authority for faith and practice.
2. THE HOLY TRINITY
One God eternally existing in three persons…Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Each having attributes and perfections, and equal in power and glory.
3. THE PERSON AND WORK OF CHRIST
He became man, without ceasing to be God. Was virgin born. He accomplished our redemption through His death on the cross as a vicarious sacrifice. Our justification is made sure by His literal, physical resurrection from the dead. He ascended into heaven and is now exalted at the right hand of the Father, as the Christian’s high priest and advocate.
4. THE PERSON AND WORK OF THE HOLY SPIRIT
He is a person. He convicts the world of sin, of righteousness, and of judgment. He is the supernatural Agent in regeneration and in baptizing all believers into the body of Christ, also indwelling and sealing them unto the day of redemption.
5. THE FALL OF MAN
Man was created in the image and likeness of God. In Adam’s sin the race fell and inherited a sinful nature, becoming alienated from God. As a result all men are “lost” and unable to remedy that lost condition without the help of God.
6. SALVATION THROUGH CHRIST
Salvation is the gift of God, brought to man by grace and received by personal faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, whose precious blood was shed on Calvary for the forgiveness of sin.
7. THE PERSONALITY OF SATAN
Satan is a person. He caused man’s fall. He is the declared enemy of God and man, and will be eternally punished in the lake of fire.
8. THE SECOND ADVENT OF CHRIST
The personal, imminent coming of the Lord Jesus Christ for His redeemed ones is our belief. Also, His subsequent return to earth with them to establish His kingdom.
9. THE ETERNAL STATE
We believe in the bodily resurrection of all mankind; the saved ones to eternal life, and the unsaved to judgment and everlasting punishment.
